The Mother Earth
The earth has always been my playground. Not the regular swings and slides but the mud pies, the dens made solely from tree branches and handfuls of picked wildflowers from the roadside. I was taught from a very young age of the peace that can be found whilst immersing myself within the greens and browns of the earth. Discovering the intricacies of what we have been given for free, outside of our four walls.
The vast array of life that exists almost silently around us. We are supposed to relish in it, every ray of light and every leaf. We are supposed to because we too, are a part of it all. Celebrating the earth and all it brings. Finding all the beauty within nature. Through the ever changing seasons of life. Mother Earth teaches us the simplest notion of all; planting seeds, watering seeds and watching the seeds grow.
